Last month, Parchment kicked-off the inaugural “National Student Registration Week,” a national movement to get students prepared for their future. The mission for the week was to further aid high school counseling offices as they help students get ahead of college application deadlines by registering for their free account on Parchment.com.
We know that whether students are searching for the right college, applying for an internship or interviewing for a job, sharing a copy of their high school transcript will be part of the process. Students who register on Parchment.com will have quick and easy access to make their digital transcript requests.
During the week of October 19, 230 schools, spanning 30 states, participated in the First Annual Parchment National Student Registration Week. These schools hosted a variety of events from registration stations in libraries and computer labs to one-on-one counselor and student meetings. After student’s completed their Parchment registration, they were celebrated with a luck “I Registered” sticker.
The schools that participated enroll more than 38,000 students who, after registering, are now able to research and explore colleges and build their college lists using Parchment’s free admissions tools.
A special thank you to the schools that participated this year, it’s really exciting to see how you’re helping #EveryStudent prepare for their future.
